The São João University Hospital, in Porto, is not just any client. It is the reference hospital of northern Portugal, with decades of history since it opened in 1959 and a daily activity that allows no interruptions, not even in the kitchen.
A Spanish company won the tender to manage the hospital's complete food service, including the remodelling of the dining-room and kitchen facilities. A demanding contract, in a neighbouring country, with an administration that has its own rules and its own deadlines.
Our task was to ensure that the technical guarantees required by the contract were in order before the works began. No delays. Without the company's team having to deal with bureaucracy in a market that was not their own.
