The 2nd National Insurance Forum of Portugal, held last 4 and 5 July, concluded this Wednesday after two days of debates and talks. This important event, which took place at the Alfândega do Porto, was visited by more than 2,000 professionals from the insurance sector.
The company SAMMY FREE, represented by Lucas Pereira, territorial manager in Portugal, and Tasso Franco, account manager, took an active part in the forum as a broker specialising in surety bonds. Lucas Pereira stressed that his company stands out for offering “an agile, fast service focused on technical guarantees, mainly within public tenders, but also in the private sphere”.
Over the two days, the forum stood out for the presence of more than 1,300 people who visited the 42 stands on display and attended various debate panels and talks. The second day, despite being only in the morning, once again filled the Alfândega with numerous professionals who took the opportunity to continue promoting their brands.
The role of credit and surety insurance in covering new risks was the subject of extensive debate. This type of insurance, which provides coverage different from traditional ones, protects companies and individuals from the financial risks associated with their activities. In this context, SAMMY FREE’s role as a broker specialising in surety insurance was crucial, as it is a product little known among companies but which is gradually making its way as a real alternative to the bank guarantee, thanks to its numerous advantages.
This second National Insurance Forum has confirmed the importance of modernising the sector through technology, as well as the growing demand for surety and credit insurance. SAMMY FREE’s participation reinforces its position as a key player in this field, in both the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
In this sense, the event has reaffirmed the prominence of the SAMMY FREE brand and provided a valuable opportunity to expand its network of contacts and promote its range of services.
