21 kilometres of motorway in Romania. Four years of guarantees managed without a single problem.

Romania has spent years building the motorway network it needs. And Spanish construction companies have known how to be there, competing and winning contracts in a demanding market with its own rules.

This project had it all: 21.14 kilometres of dual-carriageway motorway, with an emergency lane, in a strategic corridor for the country. A contract of 30 months of execution, with 6 months of design and 24 of works. And an additional period of 48 months of conservation and maintenance that the Romanian administration required to be covered by a guarantee.

In total, more than six years of cover from the signing of the contract to the close of the maintenance period. Two distinct instruments: the performance bond to guarantee the successful completion of the construction and the maintenance bond for the period after delivery.

We managed both. With the knowledge of the Romanian market that only comes from the experience of having worked there on a continuous basis.

Because managing guarantees abroad is not about translating a form. It is about knowing exactly what each administration requires and how to obtain it on time.
