This floating offshore wind farm in the Canary Islands is one of them. Four 12.5 MW wind turbines each, anchored on floating foundations in the Atlantic. Capacity to supply more than 70,000 homes. And a reduction of 140,000 tonnes of CO₂ a year that is not a slogan, it is real engineering.
When the developer needed the grid connection point guarantees, in 2020, the project was still in the development phase. Connection guarantees are one of the first obstacles to overcome for a renewable project to be able to move forward: without them, there is no slot on the grid, and without a slot on the grid, there is no project.
We managed them. With agility and with the specific knowledge that the renewable sector in Spain requires.
